I love talking to readers! If you’re interested in a visit to your book club, either virtually or in person, you can schedule a visit with me through Adventures By The Book, a service that connects authors and book clubs.

Historical Background
The Traitor of Sherwood Forest is a Robin Hood retelling, but it’s probably not the Robin Hood you grew up with. This is the medieval Robin Hood, and he’s a true trickster. He can be charming or coarse, heroic or bullying, at the drop of a hat. He’ll be chivalrous in one stanza, then brutal and ruthless in the next. And yet, despite all this, medieval people loved him, so much so that 15th c. chronicler Walter Bower complained about “the foolish populace” who celebrated him in their stories.
Below, you can find a few spoiler-free resources to help you explore who the medieval Robin Hood of legend really was (and really wasn’t), including an abridged historical note and a few of my newsletter posts.
Of course, to get the full version, spoilers and all, you’ll have to read the book.
